Peanut Butter and Jelly and Raspberry Sandwich
A new twist on the old pb&j and a great addition to those Back To School lunches.
Ingredients you can use: Unger Farms Jam (4 flavors), Wild Friends Nut Butters, Dave's Killer Bread, and fresh raspberries or blueberries from Unger Farms (*blues currently in season).
Wild Friends nut butters are delicious and a local company! So is Dave's Killer Bread! SUPPORT LOCAL!
Wild Friends Honey Pretzel flavor is my personal favorite and I think it works great with PB&J's with the crunch from the pretzels.
Love Dave's Killer Bread... we use this bread in our Berry Cafe at the Farm Store and it is so perfect for the Cold Cucumber Sandwich we serve.
Steps 1&2... make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich like normal... pretty easy stuff.
Step 3... Add raspberries or blueberries!
Step 4... sandwich together, slice, and serve! Or pack in a bag for a school lunch.
I hope this gives you a few fresh ideas and remember you can get fresh blueberries and strawberries at Unger's Farm Store in Cornelius, Oregon or at one of the many farmers' markets we currently attend. See details below.
You can also purchase Wild Friends Nut Butters at our Farm Store, we carry 4 different flavors, all delicious!
We are now offering these sandwiches in our Berry Cafe at Unger's farm Store. Your choice of 2 different Wild Friends Nut Butters, 2 different Unger Jams, and fresh berries on Dave's Killer Bread. Sandwich comes with a seasonal side option. See website or stop in the Farm Store for details.
